Spring Break

For Spring Break I went to Uncle Nicks and Auntie Sharyn's house in Washington D.C. Maca and I flew on an airplane. We had a blast! Uncle Nick didn't know we were coming. Auntie Sharyn arranged the whole thing!

Here I am on the plane

I knocked on Uncle Nick's door to surprise him.

Does he look surprised?

I put on a whole show. There is video on mommy's facebook, but the video is too big to post here!
Here is Auntie Sharyn doing my hair.

I love my Auntie and Uncle!

Me and my 15 and a half year old brother Obama. (I used to have an imaginary friend and this is what I would tell people.)
Me and Maca eating pancakes. I LOVE pancakes!

Me with my duck whistle. We went on an amphibious vehicle for a duck tour on the Potomac.

I got to drive the boat.

Isn't it cool!

Me with my 3D glasses going into the Dinosaur IMAX show.

I really like Dinosaurs. I'm like a mini Daddy. Mommy calls daddy Ross Geller.

Monkey made the trip to DC too. I took this picture all by myself.
A Chinese yo yo! My favorite toy!

At the air and space museum flying a plane!I hope you had a great Spring Break too. I can't wait to see Uncle Nick in a few short weeks. I'll miss Auntie Sharyn on that visit though!

Easter

Easter Sunday, I flew home from Washington DC. I went with Maca for Uncle Nick's 30th birthday. It was also my Spring break, so the timing was great. I was excited to come home and see my Mom and Dad. The Easter Bunny had been to Maca and Papa's house and left eggs for me to find.

Maca and Papa got me roller skates for Easter. We have some work to do, but I sure like them!

Poster

So for my birthday a long time ago, my teacher gave me this poster to fill out. It has a whole bunch of questions and I filled it out here is what it says:

I am 4 years old. My favorite animal is a Giraffe and a monkey. My favorite color is purple and my favorite food is pasta. There are pictures of me and my family.

Washington DC is my favorite place. I like to fly on the plane to visit Uncle Nick and Auntie Sharyn. (this was before we knew she was going again to DC for Spring break!)

When I grow up I want to be working at the office like my dad.

My favorite thing to do is dance, learn and play at The Little Gym.

If I had one wish, I would wish for Christmas!

More Dancing

I've now gotten into choreography and setting my own tempo to songs I know.

How many Stacey's does it take to screw in a light bulb?

This has nothing to do with Stella, just mommy being mommy. If you know Stacey, you'll say "ya, I can see how she did that". So we have this stairwell at our house that is sooooo tall. We have lived here 4.5 years and I've just been waiting for THE light bulb to go out. But I made a mental note that Papa has one of these light bulb extension thingies:

Awesome right!!! No, that little thing at the top screws on. It is not permanently attached to the handle. I don't know why. If I ever meet the inventor...we are going to have words because LOOK what happened!
FRICK! How am I going to get that down from 18 feet! Seriously.

Please ignore the bad photoshop. I just wanted you to see how big the stairwell is. Also, clearly the light is on so I fixed it. But I was freaking out. If that light which was hanging on by about 1/4 turn had fallen, little tiny shards of light bulb glass would have gone EVERYWHERE! The light bulb was wobbly so it was quite cumbersome to screw the pole in without unscrewing the light bulb. But alas, after about 20 minutes of messing around, I now know that it only takes 1 Stacey to screw in a light bulb!
