Almost Christmas

I have a new princess dress up dress. I have two Cinderella dresses: this one which is the one the mice made for Cinderella (and the evil step-sisters tore to shreds) and the beautiful blue one that Fairy Godmother made.

I also like to pose by pointing my toe, putting one hand on my head and the other hand on my hip.

I've been coming up with some really great sayings lately, I thought I should compile a list:
1. You're supposed to have chicken nuggets on Thanksgiving.
2. This is going to take a while (when asked to put away her tinker toys)
3. I WILL NOT!!! (when asked to bring mommy her phone to call someone because I was being stubborn)

Halloween

Mom hasn't been very good about updating this blog thing. Ever since Facebook, it's just been easier to put pictures there. But alas, here I am at Halloween. I was "Hairspray" which is 4 year old for a 50's girl. Hairspray is one of my favorite movies. I love the soundtrack and I can sing most of the songs. We don't have the DVD, but it's on HBO at least once a week and I can catch it then. Mom says my life is a musical. I sing and dance all day long!

This picture was taken after trick-or-treating and you can see I was getting a wee bit sleepy.

New Skirt

I love this skirt. Mom's friend Tamara made it and she's amazing. The skirt goes perfectly with the sweater that Gigi made too. Do you see the little twinkle of attitude in this picture? I give this attitude to my mom all the time! Maca thinks it's payback. Ha ha ha!

Cooking and Cleaning

It's been a busy month. I'm sure at some point mommy will catch everyone up. The last 5 weeks I have not had school at all. So I've been mommy's little shadow. I love to cook. Here we are making Manwich. This was just moments before mommy figured out there was mold all over her fresh hamburger buns...YUCK!

Mom bought a new vacuum with an adjustable handle. It's just my size!

Last week it was my my great grandma's birthday party. It was hot...you can tell by my rosy cheeks. Grandma has a twin sister! The party was so fun!!!

We also met Julie and Caden for lunch last week at Sonic. I got a corn dog, but I only usually eat the "corn" not the "dog".

Summer Time

Daddy is studying for a test. I went to help. He handed me graph paper to keep me occupied.

I got my hair cut last week and I picked out this new flower barrette. Mom says if I'm a good girl I get to pick out a new hair clippy when we are done.

I'm taking a manners class at Fairytales Children's Boutique. The first class we made these princess gloves.

Daddy just loves it when my eyes go into this shape.

After all these years, monkey is still my best friend.

July has been FUN

We went to the beach today on the way to dinner. We heard the waves were huge and wanted to see. Well, we must have been there between sets because it wasn't huge. It wasn't small, but not huge. It also wasn't stormy. It was cloudy, but not stormy. Mommy was confused by this picture when she downloaded it. It's a cool pic, but not quite representative of how it was outside. Weird.

I played at the beach for a few minutes.

Last week we went to my Grandma's house for her birthday. She has this pool in her back yard that all the kids thought was fun. It was H-O-T. Mommy didn't let me stay in the pool long enough because she said she was melting outside watching us.

Mom was going to make a Giant Cupcake. Lets just say it didn't work. It will someday. It tasted delicious, but it fell apart!

Lucky mom was kind of freaking out that something like that would happen and she made plenty of little cupcakes. They aren't as pretty as Kristin's cupcakes, but they were delicious!

Oh, and I brought home these sprouts at Mother's Day. I insisted that mommy needed to plant them. Well, they FINALLY bloomed about 2 weeks ago. Aren't they pretty. These sprouts started a whole gardening obsession. I inspired my mom to go get a flower box for our balcony. We are enjoying fresh basil and cilantro and I planted some sweet peas (which are attacking mommy's cilantro).
Sorry about the super random post, mommy has been a little scatter brained lately.

Discovery Science Center

Julie has been scoring us all kinds of free stuff lately. She brought us to the Discovery Science Center one day. They have this huge imprint wall thing. Caden and I had lots of fun here!

See our cute little hands!

They have this area where you have to pull up a percentage of your body weight to make the chair rise. They have a 1:6, 1:4 and 1:3 chairs. I did the 1: 4 chair with no problem, but all the big kids were in line for the 1:3 chair. Mom thinks I could do it. I'm really strong!

Outside of the center they have a great dinosaur exhibit. I got to sit on this little triceratops.

Mom asked me and Caden to take a picture, this is as good as she got. Mom says four year olds are super spazzy.

Stella's Dance Recital

Yesterday was my dance recital. I've been taking dance since the end of January. It's a combo tap and ballet class. I like tap better. Mom thinks it's because it makes more noise. You can watch a 2.5 minute video of the performance here.

Here I am with the rest of my class on stage.

after my recital I got beautiful roses!

Mommy, me and Daddy after the performance

Me and Papa

Mom and Dad promised me ice cream if I was a good girl!

These are the pretty flowers I got. They are in my room now!

My cousin Sheridyn just had her birthday. Her party was at Zoomars in San Juan Capistrano. They've redone it since last time I was there.

Some recent video

I went on the ferris wheel at The Spectrum with Caden and his daddy. Mommy is afraid of the ferris wheel but wanted pictures so she gave Caden's daddy the camera...this is what mom found when she downloaded it. Ha ha!!!

My Friend Caden
Me, making a silly face
This is why mommy doesn't go on the ferris wheel!

And my next favorite thing to do is SING!

And, I'm bilingual :)

Mother's Day

We had Mother's Day at Maca's house. It was a great day. Here I am with my Tia Linda. Don't we look pretty!

There was a great mother's day brunch. Mom brought quiche. You can read about that here.

Uncle Nick came back for the week before he started a new job. Here is Gigi, me, mom, maca and uncle Nick.

We had a super fun day in the pool! I'm going to learn to swim this year!
After swimming, I like salami. Ok, let's not fib, I like salami all the time!

Swimming + Salami = Nap on Tia Linda

These are Maca and Papa's turtles. They bite. There are 6 or 7 of them that live in a big pond. There used to be really big goldfish in there too, but then Bob the Crane ate them.
