Born to Rock

I got this new T-Shirt from my grandma's friend, Anita, for my birthday. It's from the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and it says Born to Rock. Boy am I!!! I give my mom and dad a run for thier money! Here I am with a mowhawk. My mom usually only does my hair like this when I'm in the bathtub but yesterday was special.

I had a good weekend. It was pretty quiet, which is unusual for us. Mom said she needed to recouperate from my party. I don't know what that means. My party was awesome! My Anywhere Chair

I got this really cool chair from my friend Caden for my birthday. I love it. I crawl to it, cruise to it. Stand on it. Jump on it lean on it. I LOVE IT! My party was really cool. We did a luau theme. I had a hula girl cake and my own little individual orchid shaped cake. I didn't know how to eat it really. My mom says I'm a dainty eater. Caden showed me how to really dig in. Man, can that kid eat! My whole family was at the party. All my grandparents, great grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins and all my friends. I had so much fun. We are getting pictures soon from the photographer. When I get those, I'll upload them for you all to see.

I'm ONE today

Check me out!!! I'm a big girl now! I do have a question though...am I officially a toddler now? When does that happen? So here's the Birthday update on things I can do. I can walk about 4 or 5 steps from Mommy to Daddy. I say lots of things including "Hi George", "Bye", "Don't want to", "Did it", "go with you", "yum", "uh oh", "gramma", "papa" and of course, "mama and dada" and everyones favorite "NO".

The year has gone fast. I've learned so much. Most of what I've learned is that lots of people love me. I love you too!!!

Bath time

I took a bubble bath tonight. I thought the bubbles might taste good. Turns out they do! Plus they make me have this really nifty beard! I love bath time. I have this blue seal that I'm playing with. He tells me the temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. Those Europeans won't have anything on me. Those people ride the short bus...stupid metric system! Ha! I also have this blue whale toy for the bathtub. He sings "It's a small world" and spits water out his blow hole and he's even motorized. I hope your bath time is as fun as mine!

Quarantine

I got sick and my mom put me in baby jail. Ok, that's not entirely true. My mom had to watch Caden one morning at his house. I kind of had the sniffles and mom tried to keep me away from Caden. Well, Caden's play room was away from where I wanted to be. So I threw this little tantrum. What??? I'm almost one...That's what I do!

Today, when I woke up I was really sick. I had a rash ALL over. Mom totally freaked out. She thought I had the chicken pox. Turns out just to be a minor viral rash. I'm a little contagious though. So I'm not supposed to play with other kids for about a week or until the rash goes away. You see, I really am quarantined!!!
