I have an AUNT KATE

This is my new Aunt Kate (in the white shirt) with Aunt Sharyn. Kate is my people. She's a total fashionista and she is funny too.

Mom is just a little afraid that Aunt Kate is going to kidnap me and try to get me back to Boston to marry a Kennedy. But mom said she really likes Kate anyways!

Kate was wondering what I was wearing to the wedding. My mom picked this out for me in January, which is when this picture was taken. I've gotten taller, but I haven't gained any weight so I know the dress will still fit. Mom still has to find shoes. She said that a two year old isn't worthy of Jimmy Choo's. What???? We need some sort of hair accessory too. So be on the lookout Kate!

Mommy's Hijacking my Blog

Nick was very sneaky and told Sharyn that she needed to get off work early on Friday. They flew to Boston and went to dinner. What a surprise at dinner when my mom and dad were there too. Nick knew mom and dad were coming, but Sharyn didn't know. Stay tuned for the next surprise!!!

I decided to join mom and dad in Massachusetts too. Nick had no idea. I saw Sharyn first but Nick got a hug too.

This is Sharyn with her mom and dad. They are such nice people. Nick is marring into an AWESOME family!

Sharyn showed us around her beautiful hometown. She grew up just north of Boston and her family still lives there. It is the cutest little town. They have a gorgeous harbor (pronounced habah) with a drawbridge and nice downtown area to walk around. We walked around all afternoon and went back to our haunted hotel room to get ready for a barbecue at Sharyn's parents house.

When we got back to Sharyn's parents house there was a surprise Bridal Shower for Sharyn. Nick, my parents and I were aware that it was happening. I can't wait to see the picture Sharyn's dad got of her waling in the door.

This is Sharyn's Family. They are so nice. Some of Sharyn's other high school friends were there too. Connie is so nice and makes the best food. I swear, I'm moving to her house! Karen lives in DC, close to Nick and Sharyn, but they also grew up in the same little town. Karen is the life of the party! She and Kate are going to have to duke it out for who is top dog!

The shower was fantastic. Nick and Sharyn flew back to DC on Sunday afternoon. We once again had Sharyn show us the sights of downtown Boston. I really liked Boston. The city itself is very diverse and has so much history!

Nick and Sharyn got to take a water taxi from our hotel to the airport. Mom took about a hundred pics of the water taxi leaving. It's like stop motion animation. Sorry mom! She took this pic of me and dad from the dock at the hotel.

I wish Nick, Sharyn and her family lived closer. I am still not a fan of flying. The trip was sooooo long, but it was definately worth the fear and time!

Father's Day

On Father's Day we went to Maca and Papa's house. We went swimming. Mom and Papa were blowing up a boat with a sunshade for me to play in and the sunshade looked like it would make an awesome hat!
I played in the pool for a really long time. I jump in all by myself. I say "Ready, Set, Go" and then I jump. Sometimes I spice things up and say "One, Two, Three" and then jump.

Maca and Papa still have the turtle pond. There are only 6 turtles now. They were really hungry so mom and Auntie Angelica were showing my cousins, Robert and Jordan, how the turtles eat.

Here's my Grandpa with me and Robert. We were having lots of fun. We were feeding him and Robert was pulling his hair. That's how we show our love. I hope you had a good Father's day too!

Cookie Monster

The other day they were paving the streets by our house. It was really stinky, so mom and I walked around the mall for a couple hours. Mom got lunch at this really great place that sells cookies too. She bought a dozen cookies to bring home. Since I was so good at the mall, after my nap, mom gave me a cookie.
Oh my gosh (that's my new favorite phrase), this cookie is so good. It's a snickerdoodle! Yum!

I finished my cookie and all I really wanted to do was continue my monkey research by watching Curious George. So, mom went downstairs for 2 minutes to check her email.

When mom got back upstairs this is what she found me doing. I got the box of cookies from off the top of the counter. I had to climb pretty far to get these.

Does everyone know these have raisins in them?

Dude...I HATE raisins!

I know...I'll eat around the raisins, and if I get one in my mouth, I'll just spit them in a pile on the floor.

The moral of the story: I did something bad by getting on the counter and eating not one, but two cookies (there was a missing sugar cookie too that I ate before mom caught me). Mom didn't discipline me, she got the camera. Note to self...must steal cookies more often.

Sea World

I went to Sea World today and I got to see Shamu. It was fun. I like him. After we watched Shamu we went and played in the water fountain and had some ice cream. I can't wait to go again!
