Family Birthday Party

Today was my birthday party with my family. When mommy asked me what I wanted to do for my party, I said I wanted to eat on a train. Mommy did some thinking and decided we would take the train up to Fullerton and meet my family at The Spaghetti Factory. There were 15 of us that went for lunch. It was so fun!

Here I am at the train station waiting for the train.

Mommy liked this little step so she took my picture.

This is my cake. Tomorrow, I get to go to Disneyland with my friends. I love princesses!

I loved my cake!

I really loved my cake!!!

I love my momma!

I love my daddy! He kept me nice and warm at the train station!

I'm not sure what made Tia Linda and Uncle Jeff laugh so hard. I'm a pretty funny kid though!

This was my big present. This is a really cool beach cruiser for kids.

I ran to my bike when I saw it and instantly started riding it.

I got a basket for my monkey. Mom added the "S" and the bell that Uncle Jeff got me for my trike. What kind of first bike doesn't have streamers on the handle bars? I had such a good birthday! Thanks to gigi, maca, papa, grandma, Uncle Junior, Uncle Nacho, Auntie Angelica, cousin Robert, Uncle Jeff, Tia Linda, Uncle Pete and Auntie Katrina for joining me on my special day. Same time next year...ok!!!

Sweaters From Gigi

My Gigi (Great Grandma) is so cool. She has a drawer of toys just for me at her house. She has this really cool flavored water with a straw in her walker and I always drink it all. Every time I go to her house she has cookies for me. Gigi is also the single most talented person I know. She used to be a florist. She makes these really cool afghan blankets. She made a beautiful white afghan for me just for being born. She made some really cool hats and blankets for me when I was a baby too. She makes beautiful quilts. She can sew anything and everything. She used to make all my Papa Joe's shirts. She has a heart of gold too. She makes beanies for the soldiers. She makes beanies and blankets for babies and donates them to local hospitals and to the Ronald McDonald House. When she lived in Texas, she used to volunteer so much with her church and helped teach some local children to read and develop their reading skills. She's an amazing person. At any rate, my Gigi made these beautiful sweaters for me. I REALLY love the yellow one.

Mommy saw a sweater very similar to this at a store in the mall for $42!!!!

I like the blue one too. It's been chilly lately so I haven't worn it out yet, but I will!

Thank you Gigi. You are so generous! I know the patterns were especially infuriating too. I do appreciate your hard work. We'll keep them forever!

I LOVE KUNG FU!

A long time ago, when Kung Fu Panda came out in the theatres, Maca and Papa took me to see the movie. This was my first movie in an actual theatre. I loved the movie! I talked about it until it came out on DVD. I have the DVD and I've watched it a few times. Not like a lot, but I do love my Kung Fu!

P.S. We were watching Dancing With The Stars which is why I was kind of dancing at the beginning. Mommy is rooting for Gilles!
