Happy 4th of July

I had to wait for Gigi to see me in my cute dress before I could go in the pool. I cheated a little. Mom wasn't happy, but she wasn't mad either. I find loop holes, apple...tree, come on mom!!!

Alas, I got in the spa. I kept making the ball fall from the spa into the pool. For those of you wondering, yes, the original dress and the swimsuit do go together! I really like red clothes. I spent the next 4 hours (no exaggeration) in the pool!

My Uncle Jeff (aka Tio Jeffe) helped me with my very first sparkler. It was pretty cool. I like fireworks, but not the loud ones. I hope you had a great 4th of July! I sure did.

Field Trip

So mommy has been feeling especially guilty lately about not spending time with me. I've mastered the whole guilt trip thing. I tell mom all the time that I want to go to the mall. Mom and I used to spend lots of time at the mall but, not so much anymore. The guilt trip works though because mom said if I was good yesterday that we could go on a special field trip...just the two of us! So last night I was great! I went to bed on time, I ate dinner, I didn't talk back (which was hard). So this morning mom took me to McDonalds and then we got to eat our breakfast at the table by the beach. We watched the Junior Life Guards and the surfers and some pigeons. After breakfast at the beach we went to the bank and mom took me to school.

Sunday's in Town

Today we went downtown. They were having a car show on our main street. My new thing it to have my dad take my picture in front of cars. Dad took quite a few pictures but, even with mom's nice camera, I'm still too fast to get a decent picture. This is the best we could do. We looked at all the cool cars and we stopped to get a drink. I got 7 up. We were there for about 2 hours. I was getting sleepy and it was crowded so I went home. Look how busy! The ocean is in the background but it's kinda hazy in the picture!

It's hard being beautiful!

Mom has been working a lot and her eyebrows were showing her lack of maintaining herself. Well, mom has some pretty sensitive skin and needs to have cucumbers in order to not have raccoon eyes for a week after an eyebrow waxing. I actually took this picture of my mom. I did it all by myself. But, after I was done I had to copy her!

Caden's Birthday

Caden's birthday was awesome. He had a face painter come to his party. At first I didn't want to have my face painted but after Caden did it, I wanted it done! I have some sort of lotus flower, a butterfly and a shooting star!
After lunch and face painting. Caden and I were playing, no desecrating the Mickey balloon!

Oops, sorry Mickey!
It was a fun birthday. Caden and I and some other kids played at the park. I like to pretend I'm "Super Stella" on the swings! Wheeeeeeee!!!

Monkey and Shelly

This is me and monkey on my bed. Mommy went to take pictures of my room last night. Daddy has a co-worker named Shelly. Shelly is going to have a baby boy and wants to paint the baby's room (well not Shelly, but her painter). So there are some pictures later just for Shelly and for those of you who haven't seen my room lately.

My new thing is to lay on the floor with my princess blanket and the pillow Gigi made me.

I still love my monkey after all these years!

Here is my bed, my bookshelf, my surfboard rug and my SWEET fan!

Here is part of my toybox, my desk (it was my mommy's desk when she was a little girl and the tiniest closet EVER!

Here is a close up of the paint. It's all one color with a translucent glaze for the stripes.

Mom's new Job

Mommy opened her little project today. I know some of you were waiting on pictures of what it looks like with stuff in it. Mom thinks the kids in the gym look better than the gym itself. The first day of classes was today and we enrolled about 80% of the people that came in for trial classes. These pictures were from my birthday party.

Mommy and Daddy appreciate everyone's support during the past crazy 18 months of getting the gym open. We appreciate it! Thanks to Julie, Grandma and Maca/Papa for sending flowers to mom at work today. She was really nervous, but so happy she had the love and support of her family and friends!

Maca's Birthday

So Maca's birthday was a while ago but mommy has been crazy busy! So the blog has suffered. Oops...sorry! We went to a nice restaurant nearby and I had a little bit of everyone's food. My favorite part was dessert!

Mommy's project

So most of you know what mommy (and daddy too, but mostly mommy) has been up to. Some of you have asked for pics so here it is about a week ago:

DIVA!

Yesterday I spent the night at Maca and Papa's house. They got a new puppy. Her name is Maggie and I love her! I came home this morning . Mom , Maca and Papa had to do some stuff at the gym and Daddy and I stayed home. When Mom got home I was playing in my room. I had changed my clothes from some super cute overalls to this backwards, "beautiful princess dress" and "princess shoes". I really like to twirl when I wear dresses.
Then I started posing for the camera! See...I am a little DIVA!

Then I started to sing a duet with my mom. We sing the Peanut Butter and Jelly song! I use this as my microphone. Mommy uses my xylophone mallet. That's an awesome sight to see!
